Story:

The odds were in everyone's favor at the 2026 Pair-o-Dice Lounge, as thirsty rum-lovers lined up for a guntlet of psychedelic flavors. A roll of the dice would dictate their fate, and determine which cocktail they would be imbibing in. Mini Lava Lamps of tapioca pearls, sage, mushroom, and mouth numbing "buzz buttons" laced the drinks, guaranteeing all who entered would take part in a wild flavor trip. As drinks were sipped, the cry of the pedal stell followed by thumping upright bass and a cheerful guitar could be heard, as the Beard and the Bird and the Brownwood serenaded visitors to the lounge.

Story:

Many know the Pacific for its sun-drenched beaches and swaying palms. But Captain Barnaby Blythe knew the truth: the deeper you sail into the uncharted poly-regions, the stranger the shadows become.

Barnaby wasn’t your average merchant marine. While others chased spices and gold, Barnaby chased the bizarre. He was a man possessed by a dual love for the vibrant, escapist warmth of tiki culture and the chilling allure of the world’s greatest oddities. For forty years, his vessel, The Barnacle’s Curse, navigated forgotten reefs and misty archipelagos, trading with witch doctors, exploring sunken temples, and bargaining at secret midnight bazaars. He didn’t just bring back rum; he brought back things.

Now, retired from the high seas but never free from their siren song, Barnaby has locked himself away in this very room—a sanctuary he calls his Odditiki Oasis. Look around you. This isn’t just a bar; it’s Barnaby’s living, breathing travelogue. The shrunken heads nestled among the tropical orchids? Acquired from a mysterious tribe in the deep Amazon who fermented a forbidden sugarcane nectar. The bioluminescent, two-headed parrot skeleton perched above the bamboo? It predicted his escape from a roaring maelstrom in 1954. Every carved tiki totem lining these walls holds a secret cavity, a hidden curse, or a preserved curiosity from a corner of the map that mapmakers chose to forget.

Barnaby has opened his private quarters to a select few—you. He invites you to sit, shed the mundane world outside, and partake in the liquid elixirs inspired by his travels. “Drink deeply, my friends,” Barnaby is known to whisper from the shadows. “For every cocktail tells a tale, and every oddity in this room is watching you back.”
