2015 SUMMARY

Tiki Oasis 2015 was at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Diego, California.  The Theme was "Yesterday's Future Today".  From the Tiki Oasis website history "The Space Age ran parallel to the Modern Primitivism of Tiki Culture. While technology propelled modern man to the moon, the common man celebrated isolated islander cultures that were equally unattainable."  The theme was roughly the future of Tiki contrast between the interest of isolated outer space and isolated island cultures. The dates were Thursday August 13 - Sunday August 16, 2015.

This was the 11th Annual Tiki Central Room Crawl.  The room crawl was organized by WooHooWahine & SoccerTiki .  This year had no crawl cards. (as far as I know?)

The awards were as follows:

Best Room Party: Cat Eye Club

Best Room Décor:  Tiki Magazine

Best Cocktail:  Pixie's Hula Hut - Kahuna Kevin

People's Choice Award:  Pin-up Culture

Judges were:   C.H.; D.H.; R.R.; Old Man Merrell; R.S.; J.C.; K.M.; Tai Won On; D&R.J-F.;
